Learn a fresh and modern approach to macro photography in this hands-on session. We will stray from the traditional view of macro photography (involving cumbersome tripods and shooting at f/22) and learn a more artistic and freeing approach to capturing details. Tiffany will teach all aspects of macro photography including gear options, focus, depth-of-field, lighting, color, and composition. Participants will have the opportunity to watch shooting demonstrations of macro photography, and then be able to practice their newfound skills hands-on and receive instructor feedback and ask questions as needed. We will learn how to slow down and really see and enjoy the beauty around us, and discuss the therapeutic nature of macro photography.
